Movies The Wrestler (2009) vs Black Swan (2010)

Why do you keep changing your thread? It's been changed 3 times now.

I only saw "Black Swan" once, and it didn't do a damn thing for me. It's one of them artsy flicks that can go one way or the other.

"The Wrestler" is vastly overrated, but it was a good movie overall.

Both are incredibe. Mickey Rourke was robbed of the oscar by Sean Penn who was the gay guy in Milk, because Hollywood is so obviously biased toward queers.

The Wrestler, when it came out quickly became one of my favorite movies. I watched it over and over again.

BUT, Black Swan is seriously the GOAT. It's my favorite movie ever by a long-shot.

I've watched a bunch of podcasts wheee they interview former wrestlers. The beating these guys take is uneal. I loved the wrestler beacuase of how gritty it was.

I thought Black Swan was a really effective psychological thriller. Strong performances, consistently unsettling, well made.

The Wrestler is a very strong film with a great performance from Rourke. Tough for me to pick. Would probably narrowly go with Swan.

I loved The Wrestler and haven't seen Black Swan (except Mila going down on Portman), so I can't vote. :(
