He feels his career really stalled due to the pandemic and he wants to make up for lost time.

Said he wants 3 or even 4 fights in 2024. Targets either a UK card in March or UFC 300 in April.

Shavkat is 18-0 with 18 finishes and just as deserving without the rankings math, and I think he'd kick the shit out of Belal, too, so I really don't see a problem with the better fighter being given a shot in theory. Belal will get it though as Shavkat has a torn tendon and that takes a while to heal.
