My guy's out here winning with head kicks and Suloev Stretches (didn't see that one). Said-Magomed Gimbatov looks pretty mediocre. Doesn't live up to the Dagestani wrestling reputation, and poor striking. Taking the hometown Grozny fighter.

Umalat has some very snappy kicks, and throws from the clinch. Abdulaev looks just OK. Another hometown Grozny pick.

i've tried to follow aca for years and still don't feel comfortable betting on it.

Wish Umalat had better level of competition. Abdulaev is more of a boxer although his back takes and TDD seems elite.
 
I taped so much of this card didnt leave with any plays. Still considering Umalat. I wanted to fade Fellipe at 2.40 felt like a split striking fight, line has never been same and I even considered Felipe with the shape he is in and opponent being 36. Thought Ramos would KO the Russian although if not could be grinded out. Hesitated dog odds now its gone. Also Cruz might KO this russian kid, wanted more meat on the bone.

Vlasenko's striking is lousy, and he'll be the smaller man here (only has one fight at middleweight). Bogdanov looks better on the feet, longer reach, faster hands. TDD looks OK.

i just finished up taping his last fight, pretty unimpressive against a 4-3 dude. Had the cardio to finish in second although kept losing poisition all the way through the fight. Never taped his opponent though
 
Oyatullo Muminov (-101) should dominate Shirkunov. Should look a lot like Muminov vs. (a slightly better version of) Kalechits, with the worse striker coming forward but getting timed or countered, like Shirkunov did (to a lesser extent) against Aliev. The only reason Shirkunov was able to edge out Aliev was because Aliev is so tiny. He got out-techniqued on the mat and out-pointed by the retreating Aliev, but he was able to overwhelm him with pressure and size. Muminov is a much more powerful wrestler than Aliev (although perhaps not quite so slick with chaining clinch attacks or the slow breaking down of an opponent's position), and will eat him up on the feet IMO.
