my favorite band is Slayer up until Seasons In The Abyss. everything after that ranges from OK to horrible, but those early albums are incredible and foundational. I think i might have Show No Mercy and Reign In Blood printed into my DNA by now. that era of Slayer has been my favorite band since i was 16 and despite all of the great music I have heard since then, nothing has changed my opinion.

Böhse Onkelz, a german rock band. listening for over 30 years and always go back to.
Have been maybe are even now the most hated band in Germany. Still multiple gold/platin records. Dont think they are know in non german speaking countries though...
