Elections Trump now dominating swing states, 70% think our political reich "needs major changes" or "to be torn down completely"

So, how does cutting corporate taxes, dramatically increasing tariffs and deporting millions of "Illegal invaders" decrease inflation ? I really would love to know
Fixed it your ya...Skippy

It's funny how people keep ducking the question. Obviously none of these clowns care at about understanding issues or real policy analysis. It's just parroting propaganda. Watch GOP talking heads when they get interviewed too. They are disciplined about it. Any question about Trump gets spun into complaining about inflation, and any question about the connection between Trump's policies and inflation gets completely ducked. I get why people who are working to elect Trump do that, but there's no reason for ordinary people to do it in conversation except that they literally don't know how to think.
I mean it’s obvious why they are ducking but this is all true

You're the "Dumbass" and I'm not some tool like yourself that actually belongs to a "Party". Biden has the power to shut down the border but lacks the balls and fortitude to do so for fear of losing the limp wristed noodles votes from puppets like yourself...

I don’t belong to a party.

Why are you dodging the question about Congress makes laws and presidents sign them?

You were the one singing transitory every quarter when it was still increasing. Still is. Ooh it’s increasing slower though. Yay!

Just say you were wrong already.

Why are you ducking? Under Trump, we spent more in 4 years than Obama did in 8. Fed rates were at 0.

Tell me again how Trump didn’t play apart of inflation?

The inflation reduction act was mainly about investing in clean, alternative energy …. Again, how does deporting millions of immigrants , increasing tariffs and cutting taxes for corporations lower inflation ?
You're asking "how" to something nobody claimed. The dude with the Tommy Wiseau av said "he has no platform or policy", which was the silly thing dems were told to say several months ago not expecting an answer, and it only lasted about a week because they did get answers, and @lilelvis posted the website for a list.

For some reason you picked a few random ones and asked how they relate to something else that nobody said, but to answer the benefits of the ones you picked out, tax relief is obviously for people to keep more of their own money and for companies to not have tax increases that they pass on to consumers, nobody is "deporting millions of immigrants", the deportations would be illegal invaders and the ones who aren't rapists, gang members and drug smugglers can then apply to come back and become immigrants, and increasing tariffs would be to make outsourced production more expensive than hiring and buying domestically.

You saying you like GOP policies isn't an answer. Obviously more tax cuts for the wealthy means higher deficits, which means more inflationary pressure. Similarly, mass deportations (whatever you call the targets of it) would restrict supply capacity and drive up inflation. And across-the-board tariffs would drive prices up.

If you think a big increase in inflation is an acceptable price to pay for helping make rich people richer or something, you should make the case explicitly. When you deny that there are any downsides of your preferred policy or pretend that Trump would actually reduce inflation, you just come off as a hack.

Must be why inflation was so much higher under Trump than it is under Biden. Derp.

What's your theory about why worldwide inflation was up during the recovery from the pandemic and why blowing up the deficit and reducing supply capacity won't be inflationary or why tariffs won't affect prices?

That’s his plan for a second term (to deport millions of people, to cut corporate taxes and to dramatically increase tariffs….. this would obviously increase inflation !

Wait, you’re making the case that increased tariffs would lower inflation ? You do realize it would be us companies and consumer who would then have to pay the added costs ?

Also more tax cuts would just mean a higher debt and deficit (which would obviously be inflationary) .

I know you’re a Mike Michael Knowles fan, but this is all pretty hackish to claim still (even by his standards)

I remember thinking the same thing in 2020, how can they let Biden handle this? Yet somehow he won.
I thought similar in 2020 but in 4 years there's alot more to go on with Biden. Trump at least the last 2 elections seems to usually poll far worse then what his results are (Georgia an outlier) . With Trump comfortably on top of the polls IMO likely means he's alot more ahead than that. I think this June debate is his last chsnce to stay on Ticket and it would take a clear an total win like 1st debate 4 years ago.. if he doesn't do well expect Newsome or Michelle to be announced shortly after.

Yeah, because everything was shut down during Covid and the dramatic decrease in demand caused prices to plummet. Not hard to figure out

Sorry but dramatically decreasing the labor force would result in capacity/production issues which would be inflationary
