I was thinking here of ways to counter fighters doing an Aljo. Punching down is way too clumsy.

Then I remember a time I side bump someone to get out of my way and was able to generate decent amount of force. Also it lands with the iliac crest of the pelvic bone, a hard spot.

Remember that recent fight where the guy KOed himself against the pelvic bone of the oponent?

Not that it will be hard as a knee ofc, buuuut can cause some damage and not allow the aljish fighter to easily stand up.

Iliac crest bump for the win

Easiest way is to legalize knees, kicks, and stomps to a downed opponent. It's ridiculous that it's still illegal and even more ridiculous it's not even talked about..

Hopefully everyone will evolve to counter the Aljo

Until the rule is changed and we are free.

Seriously, if your opponent is kneeling in front of you on the ground, just go all Khalil Rountree on them
