Post classic or fascinating poker hands.

Given the hands nothing was too surprising until the river. Good lay down by Ivey. Antonius probably shit himself when Daniel asked if he had quads.

Here's a classic for those who haven't seen it.

Would you have folded the KKs?

Yeah probably. It was pretty obvious at least one of them had aces, both from the hand itself and how they were acting. She basically announced it and Phil isn't acting like that unless he has something absolutely massive. Wasn't worth it to call.

I thought this was fascinating hand.

Thoughts on how it unfolded?

Sometimes hands like this can be hard to examine when all the players know each other super well. Incredible fold by Ivey, bad fold by Daniel. It's a cry call but once you commit over 1/3rd of your stack into the hand in that spot you have to call it off. You might lose the hand but you have to protect yourself from getting exploited in those situations in future hands by bluffs from those players.

When you put 87k into the pot out of your 225k stack and you start folding boats you just leave yourself open to exploitation, especially against pros.
