It is hard to lose a family dog. When my parants had to put Peach down (a dog they rescued when I was a toddler) my dad had to call me as they were on vacation a few states away and he didnt want to drive with her. One of the very few times I took time off of work at any of my jobs, I drove across the country to load her up, and take her home. I spent the money to have a vet come to the farm and give her the final injection so she could fall asleep under her favorite tree, which is where we buried her. To this day, nobody sits in her spot on the couch.Sorry, rough day. My dog died so I had to give him a Viking funeral pyre and send him to Valhalla. There may have been a few drinks involved.
