Continuation to this thread.

Based on their intensity in their performances, who takes it?

Gary Oldman

Daniel Day-Lewis

Hve either of these men wore a voodoo mask on set to convince themselves that they are in fact, a supernatural spirit of vengeance to prepare for a role?

No? Didn't think so

They’re both great. I think it’s a tie depending on what you’re looking for.

Neither actor is more intense than Pacino or Nicholson imo

Sure they are arguably better actors but they are not as intense as these 2 lol

Sherdog like usual gets it wrong

I'll go with Gary Oldman in that he is a better actor. DDL seems to just show up in angry every movie. If that is acting, my brother is motherfucking Marlon Brando.

Out of these 2 I'll go with Gary Oldman, he just seems to bring multiple types of intensity which he can even do in silence.

DDL often times comes in with that stereotypical aggressiveness, yes he does it well but not with the variety of Oldman imo.

Gary Oldman's gone to the well more times. I feel like at their best they are well matched when we are talking about intensity.

In his most memorable roles, Gary Oldman was a young man.
