thanks for your responses, i appreciate it; i knew a few guys who did wing chun and i found it to be eff situationally, obv not in all ranges but def in that clinch/dirty boxing range. W/ the sensitivity drills, foot/knee stomps; as well as the trips/sweeps, it would be very eff when an opponent clinched or was in close trying to exchange or overpower.
alot of people said its not good but my exp w/it says diff

question, how long did u take wing chun and do you feel it was beneficial to any other aspects of your training; also do you feel it has or can be eff in real life situations or against other trained martial artist who do diff styles.

oh really how long ago did u train w/mike; i was on and off for like a 3yr period, never did mt there, at the time i was working w/a kenpo guy (sparring/exchange tech) and then when i lived in md i worked w/karate * boxing guy as well as a brown belt in bjj.
i liked mike, i didnt' go there often so i didnt know him like others did; but he knew his stuff and i got alot of good sparring/matwork.

who you got on 101?
i got penn, silva, hendricks, almeida, and pelligrino. though, i think kenny could possibly pull out a win. i think forrest could get a dec if he can lay on sivla, or beat him up in the greco clinch.
