Dude I couldnt agree more with all your assesments (whats new?LOL). I am definetly pumped for Werdum/Silva. I am up in the air on that one as well. Mousasi/Soko has that excitement factor no doubt, so thats good. I am definetly looking forward to all the events this month. Hopefully they will deliver in place of all the matches that were canceled/postponed. Alot of people are dissing UFC 106, but I am with you...I am gettin it too.
Of course I'm watchin that! I can't miss it. I am picking Mousasi over Soko for sure, but you are right. Soko has one punch power and you can't duplicate his explosiveness in practice so its going to be fun to watch. Rogers has a punchers chance against Fedor, and his size helps but I'm picking Fedor for sure. Shields and Mayhem is going to be pretty up in the air for me. If Mayhem can avoid a submission, I think he can definitely win. I'm not too sold on Shields' game other than BJJ. Also, Werdum/Silva is going to be good. My heart says Fabricio will win, but Silva is no joke man. I can't wait for it. We're getting spoiled for MMA this month. I'll pay for the UFC 106 card just for having three other free ones. Its worth it in my book!
Whats up bro...you watching the Strikeforce event this weekend? Thoughts or predictions? or upsets? I cant lie I am pretty pumped for the Sokoudjou vs Mousasi match. I'd put my money on Mousasi but you never know with Sokoudjou.
I really hope someone finishes the next fight so we wont have all this debating. Dont get me wrong I enjoy a good technical fight. I am just hoping for a good finish for the rematch.
Yeah man I think Shogun looked better than he ever has. He's still got the talent, and he's added some maturity/gameplanning in there to round himself out. I think we clearly saw the two best fighters in the division, no matter what outcome. I can't wait to see the rematch.
Happy you enjoyed the story. I figured you might. I had that problem before with my messages as well, glad you got it nonetheless. I enjoyed the fight the other evening, the one positive I took out of it all is that atleast Shogun is back! It just makes everything that much more interesting, what a fighter dude. All is well here, my main concern now is the headlining match-up for 106 with Lesnar out. Keep me posted if you hear anything. Stay in touch dude and keep your hopes up for Shogun-Machida 2.
