oh and I agree that a majority of MMA fighters have taken some form of steroids during their career, at heavyweight it's safe to say that every fighter at the top level has been on them. If you're not 6'5 it's very hard to get to 230+ pounds with a low fat percentage. Not to say that it will make them better athletes, but it usually helped them to grow a lot of muscle at an early age, thus having an advantage over their competition and allowing them to quickly rise to the top.
lol man no prob it's only a forum.
err yes HGH does stimulate growth as in muscle growth, but it won't make you taller, as in making your spine and legbones (which make up for 80% of your height) grow. It can cause some nasty side effects though as increased facial bone growth, making your face look all stretched and weird like andre the giant. between the age of 18-21 you can still grow about an inch, depending on genes, but drugs will only have a minimal effect on that process.
Thanks. I wish people were more educated on the subject. It's almost impossible to have an intelligent conversation on the subject of AAS and Performance enhancers.
yea man, i totally agree with you because the way i see it, ever since I was little martial arts was always made out to be this honorable and respectable discipline...and all these fighters make themselves out to be that way. so if that's the case they shouldn't have any problems agreeing to random testing. if they wanted to market mma as regular street brawling and scrapping then i wouldn't care less what the fighters did. but they're examples just like any basketball/football etc star and they should act like it or mma will never make it mainstream. i definitely agree with you man.
