I trained with Mike like 8 years ago and it wasn't much training, although I did learn a lot. Was suprised to see him at the Muay Thai school I was at, which was about this time last year. Didn't train with him then since I was trying the Muay Thai though.
I practiced Wing Chung with my roommate for a couple years. I never went to the classes but got tons of practice with my roommate lol. And honestly I think it'd help out tons in MMA if you were dirty boxing. It's an upclose style and it controls the wrists very well. I see these guys in a clinch and honestly wonder why they don't toss elbows and chain punches...
i used to train at mike rangels on/off; recently i just meet up w/diff people i know or met online who train and we find a place to meet up and then exchange tech or spar, depending on what they want. Other than that, there is a guy i know i usually go up to his place and we grapple for an hour or two; i haven't had the money or time to commit to a school. Im trying to find out if any places have open mat times where u can just drop in and grapple; i knew one guy who had a karate/kickboxing b/g and we used to meet up and spar/exchange tech
