Truth. I sent Gym 1 owner an email (I like to have records for all money related discussions) about what's what, and I hope he either keeps me on part time or just gives me more hours (which was what was originally agreed to). They have a pretty big interest from their current students in Thai boxing, and they have a HUGE ad campaign to promote the new place, something which has been lacking in my current gym (it took them 2 months just to post the schedule/prices in the gym itself, no website etc.)
No matter what, at least I don't have to worry about paying rent/groceries next month.
thanks man

Well I understand your predicament here, but you gotta make ends meet. I'm willing to guarantee that there will at least be a handful of students at that TMA club who will jump a the chance to learn what you're teaching. I don't think interest will be an issue there. Besides, having a bunch of students already training at the club will offer you more potential students to teach right out of the gate.
You don't have to break ties with your old gym either. They should understand that you need to pay the rent.
