WEC video game

after last saturday I really think its time for the WEC to bring its own game out. I think it would be awesome I know they only have 3 weight classes (4 if you count a none existant flyweight division) but why not just get twice as many LW FW and BW

I do think they should combine it with UFC though... although I doubt it would happen

Why wouldnt it? Because the fighters arent well known to the mainstream? Same couuld be said for this new MMA coming out. Although i'm sure going to be all over it.

I'd buy a WEC game as long as they learn from the mistakes that were made on UFC Undisputed (no entrances, narrow selection of styles, fighters with overhyped attributes, etc.).

I had the same thought, but I thought the WEC should just just be added to the next UFC game, to where when you create a fighter, you could be any class from bantam WEC to heavy in UFC.

It'd be better that way for getting publicity for the WEC is if they threw the WEC weight classes into the UFC, or maybe when you're a lightweight in WEC you could move up to the UFC if you were dominant enough. I think I have a good idea, who wouldn't wanna be Bendo, Cowboy, Jens, or Urijah? At least serious MMA fan-wise.

They could just take the UFC game and give it the skins of the WEC roster = $$$. Practically zero development costs so even the surely mediocre sales would be pure profit.

But it's doubtful they'd actually invest in making a WEC game from scratch

thats actually a very good idea so for when you choose to fight as a lightweight you should fight in the WEC first clean them out and then move to the UFC thats a great idea although knowing THQ they'd be too lazy to do something like this.

I think the best idea and most likely is that they would make downloadable content packages with WEC fighters in them. They would have to be able to make profit to want to do something like this, but I just don't think it would warrant its own game. Possibly add a download pack that would contain a certain amount of the fighters from a certain weight class. I am sure quite a few people would download something like that, and it would give the WEC publicity.

It is also a good idea to have the WEC intertwine with the UFC in the game via career mode, but that is very unlikely in my opinion. I don't really think any of this is likely, but I think we have the best shot at hoping for DLC WEC fighters.
