From your list I am thinking the following fighters will not be included in the game. The WWE games have legend fighters that can be unlocked so that is what I mean when I say a “UFC Legends” section. However, many fighters that could be considered “UFC Legends” are no longer in the UFC and many have had a falling out with Zuffa. These fighters, Randy Couture included, would probably not want to sign their likenesses over to Zuffa for the game.

Heavyweight:

Mirko Cro Cop-I think he be cut by the UFC very soon unless he drops to light heavyweight
Andrei Arlovski-Currently is not signed to the UFC and don’t think he will be anytime soon
Tim Sylvia-Same situation as Andrei Arlovski
Fabricio Werdum-Currently not in the UFC and may be signed to the EA Sports game
Wes Sims-Don’t think the UFC will resign him after his TUF 10 performance
Tank Abbott-no longer relevant unless UFC has a “UFC Legends” section of the game

Light Heavyweight:

Rampage Jackson-Has had the falling out with the UFC after retiring to be a movie star
Babalu-No longer in the UFC and already signed to EA Sports game

Middleweight:

David Loiseau-Cut from the UFC for the 2nd time this year

Welterweight:

Diego Sanchez-Will be in the game as a Lightweight
Carlos Newton-Only if there is a “UFC Legends” section
Pat Milletich-Only if there is a “UFC Legends” section-had a following out with UFC
Phil Baroni-Relevant enough of a UFC fighter to be in the game with his losing UFC and MMA record?
Kevin Burns-Needs some more UFC wins to get in the game

Lightweight:

Jens Pulver-still under the Zuffa umbrella but only in the game in a “UFC Legends” section

yea, i know alot of them arent relevant anymore... but they had some guys who werent signed to ufc in the 1st one so i dont see why they cant do it for 2010... and a couple of those guys i added were just for fun.

I disagree with your Kevin Burns comment tcarr, Kyle Bradley was put into the game, and he is 1-2-0, and was either 0-1-0 or 0-2-0 when they put him in the game.

Good catch Shenanigans-you are right on that Kevin Burns has a UFC record good enough to be in the game.

They can fix the problem of cycling fighters by having more created fighters higher in the ranks. I played Fight Night Round 3 like crazy and the only times in career mode where you fought someone more than once was if they were a real boxer. HAving more created fighters would limit the amount of times you have to fight someone more than 3 times. Because seriously fighting Brock Lesnar for the belt when his record is 7-8 and fighting Frank Mir for the 5th time and more starts to get real boring

EDIT: Also they need to put Kurt in the next game. He should have been in this one if guys like Kyle Bradley and Matt Arroyo are in it. His Tavares/Crane/Diaz fight were all great. I;d love to see him fight Huerta.
