I was involved in a worse decision than Shogun/Machida.
I was awarded a decision, and even I thought it was bullshit.
Basically, the guy I was playing controlled the ground game the entire fight, my only offence the whole of the three rounds was half of the second when I had him rocked from a knee. He clearly won the fight.
Then, the result came in.
Judge 1 - 29-28 to me
Judge 2 - 29-27 to me
Judge 3 - 29-28 to me
As soon as the result was in, I said to the guy that he clearly won. The judging system on this game is messed up.

I have to throw the bullshit flag there chief...if you had him rocked, you had to do some more than half a seconds worth of damage.
did you look at the damage chart or anything afterwords? Usually that tells a good bit.

I said "my only offence the whole of the three rounds was half of THE second when I had him rocked from a knee" that means, half of the second round when I mounted any meaningful offence.

It was pretty early in the morning and I haven't had any sleep so my reading comprehension isn't what it should have been.
Still, did you look at the damage chart? Rocking him alone would have probably won you the round at least. Don't know about the others.

Wow, moron. Maybe next time before you get all worked up about somebody else's video game experience and start throwing penalty flags you should work your way past a 2nd (as in after first, not the period of time) grade reading level.

I didn't see the damage chart, but I thought he clearly won the 1st and 3rd rounds, so, at best, if the second round was a 10-8 round in my favour, it could have been 28-28.
Even the pre-decision cut scenes, my guy was pissed off, his guy was celebrating, then the decision came.

the game judges not on who controls the fight, but the damage done.
I landed nearly 200 punches on Rampage (edit: with Nakamura) and couldn't knock him out, he landed about 40. Most of the time i stuffed the takedown, and if i didn't, i would just flip my guard into side control, where i relentlessly pounded him with elbows until he stood up. At the end of the fight, I had about 1/2 stamina, he had the minimum. He won the decision.
Hopefully EA gets this a little better. Programming a realistic judging system involves a lot of math, and they've got the time and resources to do it.
