Think I only had the medicine & intelligence bobbleheads when I was level 6 lol. Sounds like you're miles ahead of where I was.

I found the National Guard one the most time consuming to collect. How's your agility?

The most fun i got out of this game was collecting the unique weapons and armore, there's so many! At first i put them all in my megaton house. Go there first, so you can store your junk. Sell it later for bottle caps. Then set out exploring and hunting for unique weapon. There's alot of them if you buy the add ons or GOTY edition. My current house is in point look out. Its a really big nice house and i have all the unique weapons out on display. I played this game alot, too much to where i got completly sick of it

I just restarted and my biggest advice point is to start the game collecting as many bobbleheads as you can before you go mission happy. More importantly google and use fallout walkthrough guides liberally.

The fallout wiki site is my fav.
Sigh...that really kinda pisses me off. I remember seeing a bobblehead on my Dad's desk at the start of the game and thinking that would probably be something I would have to collect, but I just wrote it off as more useless junk and left it. What purpose do they really serve? If it is just some achievement I reall don't care. Never saw the point in achievements or gamerscore.

I would look up walkthrough, but I don't really like to do that unless I get stuck because it kinda ruins things a bit and there is always the possibility of spoiling the game. This thread will probably end up doing it eventually though haha.

I just got it, so I haven't learned much, but I assumed either the cigarettes or the bottle caps were money. I have been keeping cartons and cartons of smokes...I guess they are junk haha.

I have yet to find a vendor of any sort, so I am keeping a bunch of random stuff. The only town with any kind of civilization I have found is Big Town and there is no vendor.

I noticed in the inventory menu, some items have like a scrap metal pile that looks like it might symbolize the item is just or scrap, but I thought it also might mean it is raw materials for something. Anyone know? Am I just carrying useless garbage? Stuff like the cleaning ingredients you find on the ground, paint guns, and random cooking supplies like pots? All that junk?

That is the difference between gaming companies. Some are out to make a quick buck, and others are out to make a buck and a great game. Bethesda has had a few game of the year titles, they know what they are doing and seem to care about their reputation.

you have to find megaton and find craterside supply, its to the right of vault 101...dont blow it up

like i say, the wiki fallout guide is a freind.

You can sell alot of junk, hold on to them. I sell most everything i find. But find megaton before you worry about making money

Gives you points in the relevent stat, if you aren't bothered about achievements then you'll be fine without it

bobbleheads, build up you stats. Which is really important in this game. You can get that bobblehead later in the game...but me, id just start over. I dont like guides either but theres so much to this game. If you miss something it hurts deep inside. Hurt me so much i started a new game after 36 hours play through time on my old game
