Anyone else getting this? The reviews are pouring in now and Metacritic has it standing at an 87 so far.

This is the first game in a long while that has gotten me pumped up about the release.

It's long too, from the reviews I've read it will take you about 30 hours to just go through the main story, then many more for the hundred+ quests that are in the game. Add in seemless 4 player co-op, 50 experience levels, and about 3 million different guns and I think we have a winnah!

Also, for those wondering about the longevity of the game (since it is basically a Diablo clone) it took a dev over 100 hours to hit level 50 with just 2 of the 4 characters. So this one you're going to want to buy and not rent if you get it on a console.

IGNs video review is up. They gave it an 88% so that's great news.

The main things they complained about were a few "boring" skills and some small framerate issues on the console versions. I can handle that though.

I was going to get it on PC, but since the servers are not going to be "closed" I expect within a week that many players will be playing with hacked guns.
(If you want proof of this just go play Diablo on an open server) This wouldn't be an issue but I have no friends with decent gaming rigs so they are all getting it on 360 so I will as well I guess.

If I do find out that the PC community isn't that bad from the forums, then I will pick it up on Steam as well.

Love the mix of RPG and FPS.

I preordered yesterday at Gamestop and picking it up today. Not sure exactly how the 4 player coop is going to work. Anyone here interested in playing some coop - let me know your ps3 handle. Mine is chess-zebra. hope the game is good fun. Get some kind of free guns with the preorder. If you are playing on the ps3 hope to see you online soon!
