For one, Gatorade has been using that beat for awhile now.

Oh yeah, I thought the commercial was fine. No different from any other Gatorade commercial I see..

i have a feeling this is just the opening salvo - a sponsorship deal between a major corporation and an athlete tends to be a multi-front, ongoing deal including personal appearances, print ads, etc as well as tv ads

Sounded a bit like Ice-T doing the narrating during the commercial.

He does have a good speaking voice for narrating. I remember that Mike Tyson Documentary he did.

Not sure if it's him though, it probably isn't.I Only did listen to it once.
