it was quite a cheap shot. The video shows the fighter reaching out for the hand touch while the other hit him.
Poor sportmaship but nothing illegal.

That was tough to watch seeing such poor sportsmanship. None the less I hate that ref; I cant name the number of times he has made shitty calls during one of the texas fight fests in san antonio.

The video is skippy as hell for me. But it looked like the dude was planning to shoot out from the beginning anyways. Not poor sportsmanship IMO.

that didn't look like poor spotsman ship just stupidity form the one guy if someone runs at you you don't try and touch gloves.

I saw a fight in Iowa a few years ago when one of the guys went out to glove tap and his opponent dropped him, similar to this video. The corner men for the guy who got dropped, once they were in the octagon went after the other fighter and jumped his ass....it was pretty funny really but definitely poor sportsmanship....

Same thing I thought
looked like he reached out to touch gloves and the other guy clubbed him.

where in the rules does it say you have to touch gloves when the bell sounds. isn't that why you do it before the fight. isn't that why you nod to your opponent before hand to see if it is cool. not bad sportsmanship. stupidty for the guy who stuck his chin out like that he deserved to get KTFO.
