I definitely agree that Faber has a much better chance at beating Mike Brown than Franklin against Silva, but their cases are very similar in that they were both considered top fighters until Silva/Brown beat them twice.
No way. Urijah Faber has not dropped to gatekeeper status yet, in fact Brown is his only legit threat. Franklin has proven that he will never get past the top ranks (even though he's one of my absolute favorite fighters). He has proven that he belongs in the top 5, just not at the top. Faber on the other hand, has yet to disprove his abilities. He needs to step in the UFC as a LW. I would love to see him fight Efrain.
Faber should have won the second fight, He kept fighting till the end and was working them Elbows like crazy. They can fight again for contendership after my boy Jose Aldo bust up Mike Brown
