There's no "what if's" with Franklin/Silva. Franklin/Silva 3 is pointless and a waste. Franklin was destroyed in both fights. There was nothing he could do, and he knows it.
Now with Brown/Faber, one can argue that Faber got caught or destroyed in their first fight. In their 2nd fight, what if Faber didn't fight with a broken hand for 4 rounds? Grounds for a 3rd fight in the future but definitely not now.

If Faber punched harder, the fight would have ended early. I was not impressed with Brown at all. Also, to the guy who said "if Faber learned to punch right, he wouldn't have broken his hand" ... he punched Browns head while he was ducking. A common mistake (accident). Don't take this as "i'm a Faber fan" cause i'm not. But really, his hand was shattered. And he still fought back effectively, to me ... he won.

Why? Because he lost ONE fight? And could have easily avenged it if not for an injury? How long has he been competing at 155? What's his record? And you think because he got "caught" by Brown that he should move down? No. no, no .... he is fine where he's at and there definately needs to be a Faber vs. Brown III. Without a doubt. Maybe not now, but soon. He just had bad luck the second time, and at no time was he in any real danger. Solidifying the idea that he got "caught" the first time they fought.

Who cares? You know what i'm gettin' at with this. The point is ... THERE IS NO NEED FOR HIM TO DROP DOWN. You people get so fucking hasty about everything.

He should just go to lightweight and fight in the ufc... Faber vs brown 3 sounds pretty stupid considering Brown already beat him twice and looks like the much better fighter
