I don't like Faber at all, but agree.

Franklin was dominated by Anderson twice.

Faber got caught the first fight, and broke his hand the second. Brown could not finish or keep Faber on the ground, even though Faber could not use one hand. Would Faber beat Brown in a third fight? Who knows, my gut says yes.

Hopefully Faber will have to fight someone tougher than Pulver for another rematch. My opinion he should have had to fight Garcia instead of Pulver before.

Not close at all. both fights with Brown/Faber were competitive. Even in the one where Faber got knocked out. yes it was short and you didn't really get to tell much from the fight. He appears to be able to hang with Brown. Now is Brown the better fighter? its hard to argue otherwise, but you could make a case for Faber. Anyone who try's to argue for Rich against Anderson is simply doing it to argue. The only way you could even possibly sell another fight between the two is if it was at 205 or higher and then you'd be grasping at straws.

There is much stupidity in this thread.

1. First off, your chances of defeating someone doesn't drop after losing to them. If Faber has a 40% chance of victory then he ALWAYS has a 40% chance of victory. It doesn't go down to 10% or whatever with every lost, where the hell are you people getting this? If I flip a coin and it comes up heads three times in a row, if I flip it a fourth time it still has a 50/50 chance of coming up heads.

2. This is directed at the TS, not calling you stupid though but just answering your post. No, Rich Franklin can NOT defeat Silva. Faber has a really good chance against Brown. Faber is just unlucky enough to have fought the first and third fights of a rubber match back to back . But he can definitely win, it's just that he had an unfortunate hand break in the second fight, and the first fight was too close to call after that punch. But people just don't like to see a third fight if it's not a rubber match except Herring vs. Nog and Rampage vs. Wanderlei, and in THOSE third fights, Rampage won, and Herring got REALLY close to beating Nog.

NO! becaus faber didn't exactly get demolished in the last fight... plus fighting with a broken hand. i'm sure if healthy the fight could have gone a lot different. they will give him a few fights and maybe hope that someone knocks brown off etc. there are also fights at 155 and 135 for faber, shit i would like to see faber against varner, razor rob or anybody else at 155.

I think faber could take brown in a third fight. First fight he got caught, second fight he broke his hand. Bad luck it seems

I think Faber should fight Grispi since its been a while since he's fought a guy as big as him. Fabiano would also be a good choice.

However im guessing he'll be fighting Garcia next just for more attention being drawn.

His natural, walk-around weight is roughly 145 and with all the training he does he has to consume a ridiculous amount of calories to stay at that weight. Now if he decided to cut to 135 (he wrestled 130's in college), we could see some fireworks in that division.
I believe he wrestled 133
