faber is in a much better position ! he is still number 2 at his weight! he jus cant beat the number 1 guy! get over it! franklin is bobbing between the 2 weights because he cant break into the elite levels for either!

I was actually nervous before it was clear Urijah broke his hand. It was surprising Brown couldn't finish him when he really couldn't even punch hard for 3 or 4/5 of the fight.

It should be noted that in the first fight, just before Urijah threw that ridiculous elbow, he busted 2 of Browns ribs with a well-placed knee. Who knows what would have happened? I also agree with the fact that Brown is too strong for him at 145. Urijah was that way once to the whole division. I wouldn't mind seeing a 3rd fight. And no offense to Rich Franklin, but Anderson Silva is going to beat him 10/10 times. Faber/Brown wouldn't be that.

that is a great comparison nice job man but yeah i believe he is because he needs to find a way to get past brown. he did have a broken hand in the last fight. i would like to see him try at brown one more time and if it doesnt work out he should go up to 155.

i dont think rich and faber is a fair comparison to be honest.
urijah fucked up his hands in his attempt to regain the belt and still hung in there.
i think if his hands werent fucked we would have all seen a very different fight.

I think he's in a similar situation. His best bet is to win a couple matches and then hope brown loses the title.

The difference is that Faber is a good fighter, whereas Rich Franklin has never demonstrated that. A controversial decision win against the Axe Murderer does not a superstar make, especially as that is the only high profile win of his career.
Faber might have also won if he hadn't broken his hands. Brown didn't do much to win that fight and couldn't finish a man with a jacked hand.
That being said, Faber might want to take this opportunity to cut weight or go to Japan or something.

This.
Also, after Silva/Franklin II, nobody wanted to see a Silva/Franklin III. All the questions were answered. Due to the circumstances in this situation, I'd sure like to see Faber/Brown III. I think it'd be a helluva fight.
