I'm not so sure he can't beat Brown. He won the first round, broke his hand, and had to continue fighting against a huge, strong, gorilla like opponent in Mike Brown. anybody who doesn't think that hand made a difference needs to pull Mike Browns dick out of their mouth.
A 3rd fight would settle it, but it would take a damn near flawless performance. not to mention that Aldo, among others would get that shot first since he's lost to Brown twice now. The 3rd fight wouldn't take place for well over a year, IF it ever happens.
and at 135 i think he wouldn't just beat Miguel torres, but I think he would dominate him.

He's just physcially stronger than most of the guys Urijah fights and he hits hard as hell as well. He's like Urijah Faber version 2.0.

Brown is stronger, but Urijah is the more skilled fighter. He made a mistake in the first fight, and Brown capitalized. It's not like he was being overwhelmed up to that point. The second fight He had a broken hand for most of it. I think Brown was hurt pretty bad in the second fight, but Urijah did not capitalize. Two very good fighters, but Brown is not on another level, though he certainly deserves to be the champ.

Ughh. OK. 1) Are you saying that fights are never won using unorthodox strikes? 2.) In a 10 fight 50/50 argument how do I lose the argument after 2 fights. I wouldn't lose the argument until 6 fights, which will never happen. 3.) Bob Sapp is *physically* stronger than most of his opponents, but it really doesn't help him now, does it?
No doubt Brown is a champion, and I don't take anything away from him, but if anyone *can* beat him, Uriah is the guy...unlike anyone actually ever beating Silva, which was my point.

No not yet. Franklin was soundly beaten in his two performances against Silva. With Faber he got caught doing something stupid the first fight and broke his hand the second fight. I'd like to see a third where hopefully Uriah doesn't do one of the above. Not questioning Mike Brown's position as champ, but based on the above I don't think it's time for Uriah to move yet.

I would really like to see both Brown and Faber move to LW in UFC, where they could both be solid contenders and create some great fights with guys like Sanchez, Florian, and Penn.

Although it would be exciting to see them both move up, it won't happen. Brown is physically big enough to make the move, but he's on top of the 145 division and has no reason to move. Urijah, on the other hand, can't make the move to LW. He already struggles to keep weight on in order to stay at 145. His natural, walk-around weight is roughly 145 and with all the training he does he has to consume a ridiculous amount of calories to stay at that weight. Now if he decided to cut to 135 (he wrestled 130's in college), we could see some fireworks in that division.

Faber wins that rematch (like he won the last one) and he takes it more solidly without having two broken hands.

I think he should move up to 155 in the WEC. That way they would have 3 very marketable champions in Torres, Brown and Faber. I think that Faber can handle the guys at 155 in the WEC but in the UFC.... uh uh
