Is Urijah Faber in a Rich Franklin type situation?

the only comparision I draw from these two is that they were both unable to recapture their respective divisions title, should he move to another weight class? I'd love to see him at light weight

I think it is a different situation all together.

If Faber fights Brown 10X, he wins 4X or 5X I bet, and most would go to the judges.

If Franklin fights Silva 10X, he loses 10X, and I don't see it ever going to the judges. Nothing against Franklin. There aren't many people that can compete with Silva, and the only people that make it more than a few rounds, is because they won't engage with him.

Silva is simply out of Franklin's reach. Brown is not outside of Fabers.

The first Brown / Faber was a lucky punch. If Uriah had hit him with that blind elbow, who knows what would have happened. The second went to the judges. I think a third would be a good match, and the odd would have Faber taking it.

yes, a 3rd matchup would be pointless and would only hurt fabers career more

not being able to use one of your hands makes a significant difference, i think a third match up should be set up imo

You're basically saying if Urijah connected with a stupid, unorthodox strike that would land 1/10 times he would have possibly won? No shit. The odds already stacked against you buddy because Brown has already beaten him twice, thus reall defeating your 50/50 argument. I see Brown beating Urijah 8/10 times. He's just physcially stronger than most of the guys Urijah fights and he hits hard as hell as well. He's like Urijah Faber version 2.0.
