Lorenzo Fertitta confirms Cro Cop 3 fight deal

I really hope Cro Cop comes back strong. He has some work to do before he can be considered a title contender. Good Luck Mirko!

I'm glad this deal got done. I was very disappointed in CC when it looked like he was heading straight back to Dream. Now, if the UFC can just sign Fedor...

Mirko is back, and he's focused, but I'm worried that his age will become a factor when he's faced with such young and huge guys, like Kongo and Gonzaga again. I love CC, but I would rather watch him show his skills against evenly matched opponents than see him lose to super-heavyweights who are 10 years younger. Good Luck CC! Maybe a showdown with Couture in the making?

We didn't get to see too much of Cro Cop against Al-Turk but when he started to go after Turk, I thought he looked great. The eye poke was unfortunate but everyone that watched that fight knows Turk was on his way out. If Cro Cop can bust up Santos, he will be facing the Nog/Couture winner and then on to a title shot he can win that one.

I would love to see the old trigger happy Cro-Cop again but like the others I believe his age/injuries may have caught up with him. Still always my #1 tho LETS GO MIRKO!!!

God move by the Fertittas. One of his losses isn't legit at all: Kongo kicked him in the balls on purpose.

Cro Cop is still not to far removed from his knee surgery to repair his knee. That surgery is no joke and takes a long time to recover. I think he is still nursing that knee, but still wants to fight. You just don't see him throwing as many kicks or moving around like he used too. I still think he is testing the knee, but doesn't want to miss any time as well. Let's cut the guy some slack..

If Mirko can start landing the left kick again and rock Dos Santos with one, they may just be enough for him to gain confidence in his knee back, and start being more aggressive.

i hope he does well and gets the HW title... lets just hope that his knee holds up, but if he comes back healthy he should be able to be a serious threat. but everyone will be gunning for him...
