Back on the subject of Hendo, I've knocked someone out from a standing position and then had the impact from their head hitting the mat bring them back. Fight till the ref stops it has been made a very clear concept since before the days of UFC. I remember a fight where Royce was choking someone and the guy tapped but the ref didn't see it. Royce let go and the guy immediately started fighting again since the ref hadn't stepped in.

I agree, this has already happened many times over and nobody really cared. Like when Yvel ko'd Rizzo. Rizzo was hit with at least 5 power shots after the ko.
