If anything Dan is a rich sport, what with the KO of the night bonus and that win bonus.

I think a lot of you making such a big deal about the punch after Bisping was KO'd havent seen the fight, only gifs or you're entirely new to the sport. In both cases, you should pipe down.
If you watch the fight in real time, Henderson didnt anything out of the way or unacceptable. His comments afterwards though were perhaps ill advised, which has lead to the discussion as it stands today.

a fighters not supposed to let up until the ref steps in, but Bisping's finishes come from an accumulation of blows, and not a brutal KO.

When someone keeps attacking until the ref stops, that's fine. The way Babalu got into trouble was by holding a choke while the ref was calling the fight and pulling on Sobral's arm to make him release the choke. Hendo stopped as soon as the ref said to, so I see nothing wrong with what he did. I'd love it if fighters didn't get extra shots in when it looks obvious that a fighter is out, but they have a lot of money riding on each fight and I can't blame any fighter for continuing until the ref has ended the fight.

hendo jumped on him right away, it's not like he waited, saw he was out and then elbow'd him.
wandy hit jardine a bunch of times but it is not the fighters job to stop a fight....

If Henderson wouldn't have said "that last one was just to shut him up," we would never be having this conversation...

hendo should have just said "you know... in the ring... in the heat of the moment, you don't think logicially, and you're high on adrenaline and you cant see someone is knocked out and keep fighting away as you're trained to do". We wouldnt have had this discussion.
But to be honest, bispeng got knocked down from standanding position and fall smack bang flat on the floor, and he had his arms to his sides, out cold. How can you not think that was a KO.
OTOH... when you're giving everything you got and fighting your ass off, exchangiong blows, and you suddenly get a quick victory, you want to take sweet revenge and carry on beating the other guy for sweet revenge. So I can understand why fighters would want to keep going until the ref stops it.
I know, I'm so on the fence my ass is hearting from sitting here

take wanderlai yea he crumpled but it could be seen as weak legs before the knockout
it looked to me like bisping was shot mid air and fell out of the sky and clearly was propper stiffened up before he hit the deck

Hendo was in the air before Bisping even hit the canvas. What's he supposed to do, pull his chute?
