How much?

Sorry to talk to much. Just interesting.

I mean, I got like, butterlifes in my gut several times before my first fight. But literally, they only lasted a minute and then went away as soon as I started to talk myself up and confirm myself in my own mind I was ready and should not be scared.

Actually, i think i was telling myself shit like, some men can go onto battelfields and hack the fucking shit out of each other with swords and not piss their pants, and here I am nervous about fighting with pillows on my hands? That kind of made me feel like I shouldn't be nervous.

So yeah, I got it, but not constant enough to say I was actually nervous.

I'm just probing you to confirm what the census should be; I mean, if one pro fighter says he's nervous, then everyone will think that that is an okay thing. However, if you mean you only had a dash of butterflies for a moment, it needs clarification. If you really were spewing, but could still fight so good, then I'll just shut the fuck up and let everyone do their own business.

But yeah, when I got into the ring, it felt like it was just me and the other guy in a million mile radius. Not even the ref seemed to exist.

Yes. I know that one.

I'm a freak; my strongest punch is my jab coz I'm a right handed south paw. I can knock a guy back 2 meters with a single jab. I was excessively surprised and disheartened when I landed my best strike and he played superman for a moment but didn't get knocked the fuck out.

Knock outs come from combos, I now realize... the chances of landing a one punch KO must be pretty fucking rare.

I really didn't get to nervous. I was enjoying myself the day of, I was anxious and excited to be a part of the experience. Alot of guys wear headphones and take naps, but I just had sunglasses on and I tried to take in and remember as many little details about that day as I could.

I was just relaxing when I was getting my hands taped, walking out (don't even remember it), real lose during the fighter announcements in ring.

It really didn't feel real. I was the first fight of the night on an immaculate white canvas and the venue was pretty silent unless someone was getting hit. It honestly felt like a dream, I have never experienced those feelings before and I don't think I will in any other setting, unless its a fight

Honestly, I've been way more nervous for a street fight (haven't had one in years) than for an MMA fight. Just the time I spend training and preparing for a fight, by the time the fight comes around, I am so mentally prepared, that I don't get nervous. I've seen guys running to the bathroom after their fights puking their guts out. I guess I am just one of the 'lucky' ones

probably the hour before the fight is the absolute worst. I sit there and wonder why the hell i think this is fun. It doesnt really go away until after the bell and after the first exchange when I realize he's just another person and im not gonna get killed. And obviously once youre done its the best feeling in the world.

weigh ins....as soon as I see my opponent, that being said I hate them because everyone tries to look tough...really your not impressing me or intimidating at this point so any ideas on something funny to do at them let me know I have 3 1/2 weeks to come up with something

When I'm there waiting is when it hits me. I get the bubble guts, and I feel really energetic(sp?) like I can breath real deep all the sudden. Then I'm like oh shit!, what are you doing you idiot. Then you get in the cage and its all gone.
