Off the top of your head of course. Present BOTH sides to Bas, Bullitt68.
Plenty of fighters deliver that elbow NOT with KO intentions at all, but to just graze a man enough to get the desired effect: a stoppage on a cut.
I think it's a bit of a cheaper way to get a win rather than with a clean submission or decisive KO, but more importantly, the resulting bloodbath reflects poorly on MMA regarding the barbaric "bloodsport" persona that MMA has been trying to shake since the beginning.

That's not the point. I was never trying to say that there are no instances of elbows causing cuts. I was merely illustrating that elbows do damage and are a valid weapon that deserve to be included in every mixed martial artist's arsenal, yet there are so many people who still trot out the ridiculous "elbows do nothing but cause cuts" complaint despite its obvious falsehood.
However, to placate you, I'll respond to your request by simply redirecting you to the part of
Haulport's post where he mentions that only two fights out of the 900 to have taken place in the UFC over the last three years ended as a result of an elbow-related cut stoppage.
Also, one last little tidbit: I found
Sean's post in the thread I originally posted that list especially funny.

Now I disagree with his assertion that Bas had no other offense against Randleman because that liver kick he hit Randleman with proves otherwise. However, there's no denying that it's incredibly hypocritical for Bas---a man who used elbows to great success while on his back against Randleman---to now be crying for them to be disallowed.
