A note to the out of town fighters…
If it’s going to cost you over $200 to make it here I would advise against it. Like I said, I would pay up to $100 but that would leave you with at least another $100 to pay out of pocket. I would hate to see you guys do that. I’ve been there before as an amateur and I believe that it’s not worth it. I’m not trying to say that my event is not worth it, it will be a great event but in the early stages of your career it’s better for you guys to fight locally, build a local following by fighting in your home state and don’t waste your money on travel costs. I would love to have you guys here and as I said, I’ll pay up to $100 but this is just personal advice from me to you. If you’re really dying for an amateur fight and there’s nothing in your state I might understand but if you just don’t want to wait three or four months till the next event comes around I would say wait. Either way it’s up to. I would just hate to see you guys dish out a lot of cash just for an amateur fight. If you really want to do this find yourselves sponsors!
Also, if you do decide to pay the money and travel I will offer you a ride from the airport to the hotel. You guys will be treated well here just be very careful of your financial decisions.
