A note to the out of town fighters…

If it’s going to cost you over $200 to make it here I would advise against it. Like I said, I would pay up to $100 but that would leave you with at least another $100 to pay out of pocket. I would hate to see you guys do that. I’ve been there before as an amateur and I believe that it’s not worth it. I’m not trying to say that my event is not worth it, it will be a great event but in the early stages of your career it’s better for you guys to fight locally, build a local following by fighting in your home state and don’t waste your money on travel costs. I would love to have you guys here and as I said, I’ll pay up to $100 but this is just personal advice from me to you. If you’re really dying for an amateur fight and there’s nothing in your state I might understand but if you just don’t want to wait three or four months till the next event comes around I would say wait. Either way it’s up to. I would just hate to see you guys dish out a lot of cash just for an amateur fight. If you really want to do this find yourselves sponsors!

Also, if you do decide to pay the money and travel I will offer you a ride from the airport to the hotel. You guys will be treated well here just be very careful of your financial decisions.

I would love to do it. I could fly down from here in Canada. I have friends all through California so it would be no problem, plus I have tons of airmiles. I train here in B.C. and would love to fight. I am 6'2 and 190, but I can fight up or down. I fought in a Submissions series this spring and did great winning my first two fights by submissions and was winning my third against the eventual gold medalist in my division before gassing out. I have boxed and wrestled before and love all combat sports. I am in great shape and ready to fight for the love of the game. Don't worry about money I have enough of that bit not enough opportunities in my area. My coach is highly decorated submission and kickboxing fighter In Canada and could vouch for my abilities. Win, lose or draw I will show up to fight. Give me a shout bro' if you think there is a chance. Thanks for your time. All the best in your show.

They'll get more than cheeseburgers but if that's their attitude then they sound good. Send me everyones name and full stats to:

Seems interesting. What about medical coverage? I'd hate to come back to work the following Monday with a broken arm or hyperextended knee. I live in OC and San Bernardino is only about an hour from me.
