yeah not sure about MMA stuff. I know the dudes that I know who went there would go there for kickboxing / sparring and trained at the school I went to for all the ground fighting stuff.

Team Mixed Breed is also located in Sacramento. They have a cage also. TMB is a hungry group of fighters who put it all on the line. It's not fancy like Ultimate Fitness but they get the job done. Check them out.

Someone I know got a flyer in the mail today for Niavaroni's Kickboxing. I don't know anything about it except they do Muay Thai.

Ringside Gym. They do boxing and kickboxing. They have a few former IKF champs as trainers there. It's run by former strikeforce fighter Greg Kirkpatrick.

I used to train at Niavaronis, its in Roseville. Its mostly a boxing gym now, but they still have kickboxing as well. Eric Regan, Otis Griffin, Chris Cruz, and a bunch of other fighters train there. Eric Regan was a world champion kickboxer before he changed over to boxing. His brother Ezra Regan also teaches there and is a great trainer as well and is very knowledgable on kickboxing also. Not to mention Nasser Niavaroni who is an exceptional trainer and coach as well. I highly reccomend this place if you want to get better hands.

keep it coming this is good stuff guys, im going to check a few of these places you guys mentioned out, I know some guys that train at marinobles in Roseville i heard rampage and Randy use to spar there along with Irving and others, the problem with marinolbes is they strictly train in stand up and I perfer the ground although my stand up does need a little work. I heard they opened a marinobles in Rancho Cordova is there any truth to that?

All those guys you just mentioned trained at Niavaronis as well. Between the two you really can't go wrong. The Diaz brothers also have come into Niavaronis many times. I've heard good things about Marinobles too. Personally if I still lived in Sacramento I'd say your best bet is to go to Ultimate Fitness. That is probably the best MMA gym in Sacramento by far. If you want strickly BJJ then go to Cassio Wernicks. I'm not sure if he does anymore, but I know that Cassio used to acutally have classes at Ultimate fitness. Thats who Urijah learned his BJJ from. So for just stand up, go to Marinobles or Niavaronis. For BJJ by itself go to Cassio's. For everything go to Ultimate Fitness.
