Received my first loss tonight(video)

Picked up my first loss tonight, definately found some things I need to work on. It was my most fun fight yet though and im very pleased with my performance and my improvement fight to fight, the main things I got from this fight are I need to keep my hips off the cage and have much better posture in people's guard, I just kind of stick my butt straight up. I will fix these things and come back stronger. It was a very close and competitive fight, and I have always said I would rather lose an exciting fight than win a boring one so i cant complain.

Good luck to you. I take my hat off to anyone who steps into the ring.

Mad respect just for stepping in the ring.

Good luck on your next outing.

Glad to see you didn't get discouraged, and are already learning from the loss.

I had it 29-28 you, maybe even 30-27 you. He had some nice takedowns and some nice sub attempts, but you escaped or reversed them every time. He didnt control the pace much, and he didnt mount a whole lot of offense. That flurry in the second was awesome too man, spinning backfist from the top was sweet. That guy did have some slick JJ, but you were on top of it everytime he caught you.

Tough loss, but keep your head up.

FYI, you made that fight exciteing.

Rounds 1-1 going into 3. A little more flat footed compared to earlier rounds. keep bouncing. Nice reversal. If the head punch isn't available, go for the body punches (they hurt more sometimes). Damn close fight. A split decision in my eyes, maybe josh took the round with the takedown but thats it.

keep your head up, stay focused. You did good.

Damn two judges had it 29-28 for Cole. and the other had it 30-27 for you (myers).
