When I was young I had a fear of hurting others.

I hurt a guy when he didn't tap out fast enough and I had him in like a figure 4 arm lock

I never knew what happened, maybe it broke, dunno.
I though he was gonna cry....

you wont feel it till the fights over but yea it hurts about a year ago i fractured my foot on sombodys head in the last round of a fight he ducked right in to it i went to high and hit his head right above his ear. If he hadent been knocked out i dont know if i could have fought anylonger. It hurt like hell then but it really hurt a few min later. I collapsed as they announced the winner. I couldnt even walk out of the cage.

Front Kicks

Once during sparring, I hit the other guy's elbow and shattered my big toe. It was crooked so I had to grab it and straighten it out. People were almost passing out because they could see how much pain that I was in. I was on crutches for 2 months. Careful with the front kicks!!!!

OUCH!!!

Yeah, my foot is in bad shape right now.

Its on the mend from a fracture from a bad placed round kick from me.

I hate injuries!!
If its not my feet, its my wrists!

I agree...I train Muay Thai and have for a while. One of the worst things I ever did had to do with my foot.

When you train with a partner, you are working techniques and combinations and then different levels of sparring. We do something called playing tag. When we play tag, we arent even wearing mouthpieces or headgear. We always wear 16 oz gloves and shin/foot guards. We also go fast in tag, but we literally pull all of the shots as to not hurt each other and get some work in.

When we throw kicks to the ribs instead of throwing them hard and up into the ribs we almost side kick as a up - slap on the outside. I did that real fast and kicked a guy in the elbow with the top of my foot. IT was like kicking a ball peen hammer stuck in an anvil with the top of your foot. I knew I screwed up bad and knew I had hurt it if not broke it.

The good news was a slight hairline fracture, but it still hurts weeks later. I still can believe I did that. But shit happens...this aint ping pong!

Yeah throwing a hard leg kick can hurt you if you don't hit the meat of their thigh.
