Landing a really hard kick or knee always hurts, elbows too. Elbows in the nose hurt like hell.

Just 2 days ago I got my trainer in the nose with a unchecked elbow got his blood on my brand new gi too! LOL.

Seriously though, I was tip-toeing around him after that. But I think he liked it, ha ha, it made him proud that I smashed him after all the training he's given me.

Corey...The only example I can remember off hand was Rich Franklin after the Louissuea fight. He broke his 4th I believe and needed screws and plates. If you search it, you can find the xrays and see the screws as well.

Many fighters have broken their hands. MANY. So yes, you can fight again...but that shattered cap might be pretty tough to deal with unless you literally let it heal 100%...Maybe a year off or so.

a couple years ago i was wrestling with my brother and i had his back and was on top. i said "watch this" and i tried to do this whole fancy armbar from the back tuck and roll thing...instead i slamed my head straight onto the ground.

hurts like hell when i go for a quillotine. my bicep locks up most of the time.

yeah of course it hurts. people have broken hands and legs by hitting the other person. ive been trainning for alittle over a year, and know from expirience that leg kicks hurt both people. especially if you land them on your foot instead of your shin.

A school where I used to train used Panjakman low-line destructions to break the shin and high-line destructions to break the hands. Those hurt like a bitch to train, but if you've seen somebody snap their leg in a kickboxing match then you've seen them work.

I don't think bloody noses count.
