I had my first fight on Oct. 21st at Pop's Niteclub in Sauget, IL. I lost by decision, 29-28 by all three judges, but I get to have a rematch on Dec. 9th at the St. Charles Family Arena in St. Louis. The event is called MMA Genesis and there are supposed to be fighters from MFS, American Top Team, and other top gyms from around the country so I'm pretty excited about it.

what is the difference between ammy and pro...is it whether or not you get paid?

Yep that and usually some rule differences like no elbows and shorter rounds. The major one is if you get paid or not though

Does anyone know where the closest place to Pa where a new fighter can compete. I have 6 years of wrestling. Some boxing and am starting muay thai. The closest place I can find is Missouri. Thanks

Most promoters in Missouri help with travel and lodging. I know that Cage Championships is looking for fighters for Dec 2 in UNION Mo www.cagechampionships.com Contact info on site

I've got an event on Feb 17 in Moberly MO, still looking for fighters. PM for info
