I'll be having my third amatuer MMA fight tonight in Kansas City at the World Series of Rumble 6. Everybody wish me luck. I'm feeling REALLY fucking good about this one. It's actually taking some effort not to get overconfident, I'm so sure I'll win. Yet I know in this sport anything can happen, and that I have to recognise the possibility of a loss. Besides, I hate cockiness, and I never want to be an arrogant fighter. But man, I'm just so ready to get out there and tear some shit up.

I won by armbar in the first round. My opponent was very green, I don't think he'd gotten in much work on his JiuJitsu or wrestling at all. There are a lot of clueless fighters in amatuer events around here it seems like. I suppose that's what you'd expect, but I just figured people would want to come into a cage fight a little more prepared. There's definitely some tough dudes running around here too though. I can't wait to face some of these guys

I saw Matt Cox walking around for a second, but I don't think he fought on this card. It was a bit jumbled on account of House of Pain pulling out all of their fighters the day before the event.
