The Official Amateur Fighters News/Events Thread:
In seeing more traffic and hoping everyone's enjoying a bit of a different feel to this section of the board, think of this thread as sort of a VIP room for Amateur Fighters. Meaningless posts will be deleted promptly, and the main purpose is to shamelessly plug your next fight or event for some support from your fellow fighters and fans alike. So feel free to let us in on when you're fighting next, what exactly the event is all about, etc. Also it's more than welcome that if an event mandates more thorough discussion a seperate thread can be started for it. You never know who may show up to support you.

I'm fighting again in Sherwood, Arkansas on the 1st of April (fools day--i know, i know) more or less have an opponent now but we'll see how that goes. Training hard and getting my ass-whooped by fighters far, far tougher than me.
Its a Pro/Ammy event with some kickboxing mixed in... the promotion is called Modern Ringsport. If anyone lives near the area come on out, it should be a good show.

I'm fighting June 10th in Shreveport. I don't know who'll I'll be fighting yet, so I am training hard. Training tips/advice welcome.

Having my first amateur (boxing) fight May 6th, MD. My opponent is TBA right now and my coach is taking care of everything for me. More details coming up soon!

EDIT: Just found out my opponent is Michael Ramirez and he has had a few fights before.

I have had 10 Am boxing matches do i get a Am tag? i guess with my first pro fight coming up in MMA i should just wait. Anyone heard of Spirt MC? I am sure Kabuki has.
