My first MMA corner

Im back in St Louis for a show this weekend and due to travel probs with my friends cornerman ill be working his corner.I have worked corners b4 as a ground specialist but never the main corner man.I am however aware of all steps needed to be taken.

Does anyone have any advice from personal experience or anything to share it would be cool.

Again i dont want/need instruction, just info or stories.

Hey man, my best advice as a fighter myself is to do everything that you can do to take the pressure off your fighter on his fight day.

For example, have all of his paperwork ready so that he does not have to think about doing paperwork for the local commision, get his walkin music to the promoter, help him check in with the doctor, and of course have a good plan for his pre-fight warm up.

Overall fight day is a long menatlly and emotionally draining day. Let your fighter worry only about his fight.

Good Luck!
