My 3rd pro fight

Here is the video from my last fight which was held for the XFC in Austin, TX this past weekend and here is the video. This was my 3rd pro bout and I learned a TON of things that I need to improve on. I took the fight on two weeks notice but it was against a semi big name here in Texas and I was game to step it up a notch and test myself against a seasoned pro.

and btw that was a BS decision. all that guy didnt was get the take down twice i think... and once you pulled guard. there was like a million sub attempts and you were winning the striking easy.... bad decision.

Nice fight. From the first round, it looks like you could have kept your rubber guard a little tighter, the leg that you are not grabbing should be tighter on his hips. Round 2 had some great stand up, (loved the flying knee) I wouldnt have pulled guard if I were you. Also when we escaped from the armbar, you had a potential omaplata. Round 3 you were rocking him on the feet, if you had been able to keep it standing seems like it would have been over.

Overall, I think the judges made the right decision in accordance with the current scoring system. But you put up an awesome fight against a much more experienced opponent. I think you need to practice or be more willing to try to stand up if you "submission based guard and pound" style doesnt seem to be working.

Awesome fight, keep up the good work! keep us updated with vids of your fights. Once again, loved the dominance in the clinch. Oh and the announcer is a fucking retard lol.
