invest in an unbreakable mouth piece, by far the best in my opinion. they actually mold it for your teeth so it will fit great.

i like a top mouthpiece for sparring and jiu jitsu plus i dont have to take it out everytime i need a drink im just lazy plus in a jiu jitsu your usually talking anyways . i might get a dual because ive got a lot of sensitive teeth. get one of those custom unbreakable ones and you dont need a dule it kind of molds of your bottom teeth so you can cheqw abit

Don't use the double guard with the air opening, although they say it locks your jaw, if you really need to get some air you should be able to with out sucking it through a whistle- just a good quality 25 dollar shock doctor works fine- in MMA if your gonna get knocked out your gonna get knocked out regardless of your mouth piece

Shock Doctor makes a great dual guard for training which restricts the airflow. But when fighting I where one that only protects the top. Bite Me mouthguards are top notch as I am sure that there are many other companies out there that make a great product. The only reason that I use Bite Me Mouthguards is that some fighter on a PPV plugged it so I looked them up and placed an order. I really couldn't be happier though. I think the website is something like Bitememouthguards.com or something like that. Just google it and that should do it. Good luck in your fight bro!
