thank you for your question, "because educated minds want to know".... just like any university/college/JUCO, sky is the limit, and based on your "practitioner" skills, we offer many other scholarships besides the MMA ones. We also offer the production side of the MMA venue! We will have Ted Williams and Art Davie, tutorial for the beginning of running a business, to competing, to make money on these types of business and surviving in the new era of MMA entertainment. Ted Williams and Art Davie have produce well over 200 plus "LIVE SHOWS"... so you decide what avenue of the MMA scholarship or EDUCATION you want to participate in? Thank you for your time, and sorry for any inconvenience... - SPORTPuni...

Thank you for your question, "because educated minds want to know"... Our dormitory buildings will be done by the beginning of our FALL 2008 or earlier... Yes, a FLORIDA JUCO/2 year school is the model of our university, but its what they do with it and who is running the program makes the difference... Thank you for your question, and sorry for any inconvenience... Aloha, SPORTPuni...

I may actually have to participate. Is there only one scholarship per sport/event? Can I attempt multiple categories(i.e.- Kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA are my sports)

If you have additional information that you won't post on the board, feel free to PM me. You've got your first 'Bite'!

Anymore details on the scholarship/selection process?

Thank you for your question and reply, "because educated minds want to know"... since this post, we've had about 30 emails of interest and about 5 "idiot" remarks... Today I met with Art Davie and Ted Williams for office space @ ASU...

To answer your question: the general scholarship is MMA, but we have other sports such as football, basketball, soccer, golf, and other collegiate sports... Regarding Club, we have MMA, TKD, Boxing, BJJ, but they will be classified as MMA and TKD... send me an email and i will send you a application and information package... Thank you for your time and sorry for any inconvenience...

Are scholarship opportunities divided by weightclass, or is it an 'Open' Scholarship?

You said Pro and Amateur, many colleges only allow amateur sport scholarships. Is your school different in this regard?

In the last post you had up it said that at the competitions, the participants could keep the prize money. Is this still true and if so, how is it okay? Once you accept money if are considered a professional or am I wrong?
