iscf/ikf question?

what's with the $25 deposit registration, since they seem to be an organization that makes money off fans other than fighters.

I believe that they say it is used to pay someone to do the background checks for pros attempting to register or compete as amateurs. It also pays for website updates, and I'm sure subisdizes their tournements and such each year.

I'm sure they also have lawyers, and accountants to pay for their business.

Not sure what you mean there. I'm assuming you mean it makes people commit since they have money invested?

The reason they list on the website is as MIDMOBOX says, to stop pros from fighting as amateurs by running checks.
