Hey guys need help (training)

Hey guys whatsup? I'm currently 16 and would like to start training at the camp usmma. I know many trainers there and it is a very good camp. My dads best friend owns it and I have been interested in going for a while now. Some great fighters train there (jorge rivera, Mike campbell(wec) and other good fighters.) But I don't know what I should start training first. What do you think is the best base to get me started? I really like muy thai fighting but it seems like I would be better off starting with kickboxing or boxing. Also should I do BJJ at the same time or wait till my stand up is up to par?

get right into muay thai and bjj. there is no point in starting boxing or kickboxing if you want muay thai striking, you will only make it more difficult to break habbits if you switch. pick either muay thai or bjj and focus stronger on one more than the other. if you are interested in MMA then put a lot of effort into the takedown and positional dominance part of BJJ

being that you're a pro fighter already I think the question is moot

Dude to be honest, it's all preference. Some fighters do well with an aggressive muy thai background (wandy, thiago, anderson etc). Some prefer a technical crisp boxing. (rampage, penn, arlovski etc). Some prefer a classic kickboxing style (crocop, manhoef, gsp etc).

As far as groundgame goes, it kind of goes hand and hand with your striking style, which you should train both.

Ex: Wrestling works well with boxing because you worry less about being on your back since legs are used less. BJJ works well with muy thai because where you are very aggressive using all lims, it sets a very high opportunity for you to get taken down. If you're falling on a classic kickboxing style, the best choice is a good mixture, more working on alot of TD defense and standup skills so you can keep it technical and striking.

But you hafto decide on what to pick/choose depending on what kind of fighter you feel you are, and according to your body structure.

Work the ground game. 90% of all fights end up on the ground so your best bet is to work on your BJJ.
