Graduate research on MMA

Hello fellow forum members,

I have been around this forum for awhile now. My name is Chris, and I am a graduate student in Texas. I am conducting research on mixed-martial-arts, and BJJ, and my current project involves a short survey. I would love to get responses of the fighters around here.

I have received permission from the moderators of Sherdog to put my survey up in hopes of getting participants. I hope that you will consider taking it. It should only take 7-12 minutes. You will find all the information you need (description, ethical review board approval, etc.) on the first page of the survey.

The survey can be accessed from Relationship Between Self-Reported Concussion Symptoms and Training Routines in MMA Athletes

I will check in to answer questions as I can. Thank you very much, your participation is greatly appreciated, and will hopefully help me bring the growing sport of MMA and BJJ to the eyes of the academic community.

Ah, correction my friend. The directions say, "...If you have never been officially knocked out or TKO'd, then consider an intense sparring session"

I couldn't forget about the guys who have never been KO'd or TKO'd!

Thanks to all who have participated. I'm still trying to recruit participants, so another shameless bump. =)
