The best way to defend when you get hurt is to clinch or go for the takedown.

yeah i was fighting a guy 5'11 230 i was trying to prove i had balls to fight heavyweight, homeboy was an ex arena football player and in great shape. i was gonna stand with him and he kicked me as i was starting to go for a superman punch, but my hands were down. plus my original opponent was scratched 3 days before the fight. no excuses he whipped my ass, he never knocked me out i just couldnt recover from the liver kick. i learned alot. after the baby bean fight i am cutting to 155. other than losing it was one of the best nights of my life. god its addicting

I lost my pro debut also, and it wasn't all that bad to tell the truth.
