Here in brazil pretty much everyone that competes as pros pays comission instead of a monthly training fee. Some places even charge both, which is quite wrong if you ask me...

Pretty standard on most levels, however on the lower end of th spectrum most guys at local shows just trade corners in and out with other fighters they train with functioning as their second. So they don't pay anybody.

Or they pay 10% to their trainer who functions as both their corner and management. Their second corner/cut man is then another fighter.
In the UFc, Cutmen are supplied and paid for by UFC. That's why you will see Stitch and someone else work all the fights on a single card.

Gym fee's are a flat rate usually. Trainers can work for a flat rate like a personal trainer that you would see at a McGym, but that's almost never how it works at the pro level. Gym owners will likely wave the fees for celeb fighters and trainers will take a % of the purse.

Don Frye said that his IFL guys don't pay for his services (probably because the IFL compensates him heavily). When one of his guys missed his weight though, he said the guy would have to pay $500 a month to get back into his gym (probably worth it for what IFL fighters get paid) and that the standard fee was $70. So what you pay can vary based on who you are and who your trainer is.

My brother spoke with a promoter last week and will make my MMA pro debut. He said that the day of the fight he will make two checks, one to the fighter and one to my brother (my so called manager and getting 33%) Thats sounds like quite a chunk!!! For those of you wondering, my brother is giving my the 33% back

I've heard it to be 10% to the gym, and another 10 to your manager, of course that's what I've heard about MMA teams like MFS
