I really didn't know much about Diaz before the fight but at the press conference before the fight the fire and the disire he had in his speech, face, and whole demeanor I took a liking to him. Gomi on the other hand showed uneasiness and fought more like \a challenger than a chsampion.

Yes his gym is about a 5 minute walk from Shin Koiwa station. Watanabe sensei is the director for Japan Kickboxing Association.
